Well, my ENT specialist was very nice. He confirmed it doesn’t seem likely that my issue is stemming from any of the common inner-ear issues. He also confirmed what I already knew, that this type of vertigo is absolutely NOT stress related and there’s definitely something more wrong going on. He’s referring me to a super-specialist now, there are only 2 of these guys in the entire state, apparently. They have specialized training in inner-ear / neurological issues. So next step is a trip to either Fort Wayne or Indy. He said there may be potential surgical things to try down the line, but that if the nerves themselves are the problem there’s a chance there’s nothing they can do. He prescribed a couple things to take to get more clues, for for now that’s it.
